Visit Pensacola kicked off its new fiscal year Wednesday by hosting community members and tourism industry professionals at its annual meeting. As Escambia County’s official destination marketing organization, Visit Pensacola highlighted how tourism supports local businesses, creates jobs, and enhances residents’ quality of life.

The Pensacola Beach Lifeguards have shifted to winter staffing levels and lifeguard towers have been removed from the beach until the 2026 lifeguard season. Lifeguards will maintain a presence on Pensacola Beach throughout the winter at Casino Beach and via patrol vehicles.

The Pensacola Beach Chamber Surfin’ Santa Beach Parade Committee has opened the float and participant registration for the beach’s annual holiday parade. The parade will be Sunday, December 7 from Avenida 10 west along Via de Luna to the Gulfside Pavilion at 2 p.m.

ECUA Phase 2 of Pensacola Beach Reclaimed Water Main Project Commences

Road Work Underway Through March 2026 to Expand Sustainable Reuse Water System
The Emerald Coast Utilities Authority (ECUA) has begun the second phase of the $4.5 million project, led by contractor Quality Enterprises USA, aims to expand the reclaimed water infrastructure across Pensacola Beach, supporting long-term environmental sustainability and conservation.
