Wreaths Across America Brings Mobile Education Exhibit To Veterans Memorial Park in Pensacola; Wreath Sponsor Program Opens

Wreaths Across America (WAA) is proud to announce that as part of its yearlong mission to Remember the fallen, Honor those who serve, and Teach the next generation the value of freedom, its Mobile Education Exhibit (MEE) is continuing its national tour. The MEE will make stops in Pensacola, Niceville, and Eglin throughout November to share this mission with the community.

WAA sponsorship groups and local businesses will host the local event stop for the MEE national tour. Each event stop will be free and open to the public locally. The MEE’s schedule is as follows:

“The Mobile Education Exhibit provides the unique opportunity for communities to come together and share the stories of those who served and sacrificed,” said Karen Worcester, executive director of WAA. “The Exhibit also serves as an official ‘Welcome Home’ location for our nation’s Vietnam Veterans and place to teach future generations about the true cost of freedom.”

When the MEE pulls into the area, all veterans, active-duty military, their families, and the local community members are invited and encouraged to visit, take a tour, and speak with WAA Ambassadors and volunteers. They can also share more about the yearlong mission of the national nonprofit, and the work its volunteers do to support our heroes and their communities throughout the country. Members of the media, dignitaries, veterans, and other interested groups are urged to come, ask questions, share stories, and experience this one-of-a-kind exhibit.

You can sponsor a veteran’s wreath anytime to support the local WAA program at Barrancas National Cemetery at www.wreathsacrossamerica.org/FL0042P and Heritage Gardens Funeral Home-Cemetery at www.wreathsacrossamerica.org/FL1004 for $17.

Each sponsorship supports the many free programs and initiatives offered throughout the year and places a live balsam wreath on the headstone of an American hero, as we endeavor to honor all veterans laid to rest on Saturday, December 19, 2026, as part of National Wreaths Across America Day.
