The Max Volleyball Tourney Hits The Beach May 16 at Salty Rose
The 5th Annual The MAX Volleyball Tournament is set to return on Saturday, May 16, bringing the community together for a day of beach volleyball, remembrance and purpose, all in support of Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research Gulf Coast. This year’s tournament will be held at the Salty Rose, located next to the Pensacola Beach Resort, offering a scenic and energetic setting for players and spectators alike.
Founded in honor of Maxine, affectionately known as “The girl with the heart of gold,” the event continues to celebrate her legacy through community, compassion and action. Organized by Maxine’s friends and family, the tournament has become a meaningful annual tradition dedicated to making a difference.
All proceeds from this year’s event will directly support Rally Gulf Coast, helping fund critical childhood cancer research and provide support to families facing a diagnosis.
“Each year, this tournament is more than just a day at the beach; it’s a way to honor Maxine’s life while rallying our community around a cause that impacts so many families,” said event organizers.
