Event Celebrates Endangered Gulf Wildlife
What: Rally for Gulf Wildlife
Where: Gulfside Pavilion, 20 Casino Beach Boardwalk, Pensacola Beach, FL
When: Saturday May 16 9 am – 11 am
The Rally for Gulf Wildlife celebrates endangered marine animals through environmental education, live music, art and more. Local organizations working to protect sea turtles, manatees, whales and a range of wildlife will be on hand for education and fun, while Pensacola singer-songwriter Katie Dineen brings the stage to life with her sweet voice and soulful lyrics.
This event comes at a critical time for the over 20 endangered animals that call the Gulf home. The federal Endangered Species Committee recently granted Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s request to exempt oil and gas drilling in the Gulf from having to protect endangered wildlife, putting these animals at serious risk of harm and even extinction.
Join us on the beach to learn more about how we can protect the Gulf's endangered and threatened species!
