Escambia County Canvassing Board to Test Voting Equipment Ahead of August Primary
The Escambia County Canvassing Board will conduct a public Logic and Accuracy Test of voting and tabulation equipment Tuesday, July 21, at 10:15 a.m. at the Supervisor of Elections Warehouse & Training Center, 3201 W. Navy Blvd. in Pensacola.
The test is required before each election and is designed to confirm that the voting system accurately records and tabulates votes before ballots are cast. The equipment will be used in the Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2026 Primary Election.
Canvassing Board members include County Judge Scott Ritchie, who serves as chair, Supervisor of Elections Robert D. Bender and City Councilwoman Jennifer Brahier.
The meeting will be held at the Escambia County Supervisor of Elections Warehouse & Training Center, 3201 W. Navy Blvd., Pensacola. The testing offers members of the public an opportunity to observe election staff as they check ballots, scanners and tabulation equipment.
